Camila Guerrero Pineda is a quantitative conservation researcher and a postdoctoral researcher who works with Dr. Megan Jennings at the Conservation Ecology Lab. She is passionate about actionable science in service of people. Camila's work supports management of the montane forest ecosystems in the face of climate change and preparedness of communities to postfire negative effects in the Southern California ecoregion. She is a detail-oriented scientist dedicated to the development of decision support tools to address climate challenges such as global biodiversity decline.
