Janet Franklin and the students and researchers at the Vegetation and Landscape Ecology Lab seek to understand the patterns and dynamics of terrestrial plant communities at the landscape scale. This research is used to inform and address the broader impacts of human-caused landscape change on the environment and biological diversity.
