Message From The Directors

Landscape Since our inception, the IEMM has grown to nearly 20 affiliated scientists with a diverse portfolio of collaborative projects across San Diego County and beyond. We are excited about the opportunities we have had and continue to have participating in and conducting management and policy-relevant research with our partners.

Our website has matured as well. We now have a detailed list of the IEMM's ongoing and past projects, along with relevant publications so you can see the work that IEMM scientists are conducting. And we'll be continuing to build the IEMM website as the Institute grows. One new development in the works is a program for internships and other training opportunities with our partner organizations around San Diego County. The goal of the program will be to provide training opportunities for SDSU students and community members interested in getting some hands-on experience with resource management agencies and organizations. Look for more information on this in the upcoming months. If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact us at

We look forward to establishing more collaborations and collaborative projects with new partners in the San Diego bioregion and beyond.
